A Fantastic Summer Holiday in Bird Cove
Bird Cove is one great destination that really made my summer in 2013 as I went there for a holiday together with two of my friends.
After deciding to visit the place because of both its beautiful geographical landscapes and the artificial modish features which adorn the region, we set the journey to this stunning island in British Columbia, Canada. I must admit that this is a place we found more than we expected. The geographical area of Bird Cove is very attractive as it has the best geographical features with a cool climatic condition.
While there, we got to visit different geographical features that did not only make our day very enjoyable but we also learnt a lot about it’s rich heritage and marvelous history. We got to visit some gorgeous beaches and the sea sailing and kayaking was just very fantastic and quiet an adventurous experiences. We got the chance to visit all the eleven islands and it was very enjoyable being in such natural and beautiful places.
While at Coulter Island, which was our first place to adventure, we shot awesome photos and even some videos of the stunning and natural beauty of the island and they are the best prove about the memorable moments that we had an opportunity of enjoying during our vacation.
Later we also moved to the other island like the Read Island, Wesley Island and Goepel Island amongst others which gave us really awesome experiences that are worth documenting. In these islands we also took part in various outdoor activities and really enjoying the unity and togetherness of being friends and in a strange land.
All the bays and coves around Bird Cove were completely stunning as well. Generally, Bird Cove had more for us than we imagined. We really loved the coves and visiting bays like the Evans Bay, Lake Bay, Totem Bay and Twin Bay amongst others and i must absolutely admit that there panoramic views and scenes had a lot to be desired by anyone holidaying. Would you believe that we extended our stay at the place with an additional week because we felt that there was a lot to be adventured on these bays and coves?
I almost forgot about the amazing outdoor activities that we took part in.We got to enjoy even more by getting to swim, canoe and fish in the surrounding lakes in most of our afternoons when we felt exhausted and couldn’t do anything constructive. These activities also gave us great opportunities to marvel at the beauty of this revered Canadian destination.
We visited Lake Robertson on the first day and later we got to enjoy and have boat ride in Lake Cork, Rosen and Village Bay Lake. This is one place that is still memorable and got me thinking of taking my family to this wonderful place one day so that they can also get to experience the great joy I had in the place.
The beautiful evening sunsets and the cool and amazing night were just as enjoyable as the day because we got to join relaxing in cottages or congregating around bonfire to chat stories and also share the wonderful experiences and adventures that we had during the day. We also got to meet and interact with the hospitable people and community of Bird Cove, and to be sincere I felt humbled by there courtesy and friendship which they extended unto us.
The staff and attendants at the three resorts that we stayed were also very friendly and helpful in suggesting places which were a must-visit and hence they really contributed to our enjoyable stay in this beautiful place. Our rooms were very spacious, cozy and had the comfort and class any visitor would admire and even get to tip the lovely stewards who ensured there cleanliness.
Given another opportunity I’d never hesitate visiting the place once more, although it would be more fun and adventurous to do so in the company of my family.
